A Beginner's Guide to Pour-Over
A quiet five minutes with a good cup is still one of life's simple pleasures. Store beans in an airtight container away from light, heat and the stove.
Keep a small notebook by the kettle and record dose, time and what you thought. Medium roasts are a good all-rounder when you are not sure where to begin.
We roast in small batches so every bag leaves the roastery within days of roasting. Our fictional farmers are paid fairly above the market price for every lot we buy.
Freshness is the single biggest difference you can taste between average and excellent coffee. Tasting notes are a guide, not a promise; your own palate is the final judge.
